Thanksgiving in Kauai

We like to spend our Thanksgivings somewhere warm. This year it was Kauai. Here is how Mia spent her Thanksgiving Day. I can't tell you how many times we went down the slides :-)
We also played in the waterfalls, the baby pool, on the beach, and with the chickens (Kauai has a lot of chickens)!

A day at the park

The whole family went to the park today: Pugsly, Chevelle, Daddy, Mommy and Mia. It was a beautiful day and Mia got to run around with the dogs.

Airplane Adventures

Mia and Mommy went to Denver, CO for the weekend to visit mommy's friend and her baby Ellie. Let's just say the flight was an adventure. Mia didn't seem to remember that it was nap time - then past nap time. She just found all kinds of things to keep her busy.

I probably should not have let her eat the Cheerio, but at that point I just wanted to keep her happy!

Bathtime

You'd never guess it's passed bedtime from this smile!

Happy Halloween!

Technically this was Mia's 2nd Halloween, but does it really count when you're only 2 months old?

This is Mia last Halloween . . .This year was much more fun!

Mia ran (yes, she runs not walks) from door to door.

If something was spooky she would turn around and run the other way. Luckily Daddy was there to get her.

What a view

"Auntie" Tiffany had an amazing suite at the St. Regis Resort in Dana Point. Mia HAD to enjoy it and Mommy couldn't resist taking these pictures. Isn't she just too cute?

Pumpkin Patch

Mia enjoyed some time at the Pumpkin Patch on Sunday with her BFF Nathan. They ran around, played with pumpkins - basically had a blast! Until we tried to get them to sit still for this picture! With 2 one-year olds this was the best we could do!Mia loves peek-a-boo. This made it even better.

Daddy couldn't wait to get Mia on the tractor - we all know that's the only time Mia will ever be close to one :)

Did I mention that Mia LOVES animals? We took her into the petting zoo and she wanted to give all the animals hugs and kisses!

Mia is growing so fast! She is at the cutest age right now - she has a sense of humor, frustrations, love and joy. The best way to capture these memories - family pictures!

Big Splash

Today we went to a friends pool party. Mia could not wait to get in the water - so daddy jumped in with her.

Daddy Day

Mommy went shopping on Sunday so Mia got to spend the day with Daddy. Of course Daddy had to take Mia somewhere outdoors :) They ended up at the Aliso Viejo Shopping Center so Mia could play by the fountain and run around on the grass. Talk about a good time!

Park Time

Mia got to spend some time at the park with our dogs. She ran around, played and even took some time to rest. But it was still nearly impossible to get a picture of Mia, Pugsly and Chevelle.

Mia loves the water any way she can get into it

Mia and Megan enjoyed the afternoon with the turtles at the Irvine Spectrum. They filled pails with water, lounged in the sun and of course played in the water!

Go Mia Go

Mia has only been walking for a few weeks now, but she doesn't want help.
And she is ready to run!

Pretty Baby

I don't know if Mia knew who was in the mirror, but she sure liked her :)

Water Baby

Mia seriously loves the water! We took her for a walk after dinner Monday night and she found a fountain. Let's just say we couldn't keep her way from it.

BFF

Today Mia got to go to the park with her BFF, Nathan. They had so much fun! Nathan really wanted to Mia a flower but couldn't find any - so a stick had to do.

Then Mia and Nathan enjoyed some time on the swings.

As park time was coming to and end Mia and Nathan relaxed on the bench and got some "alone" time.

Play time

Mia and Megan got to go swimming at the Lagoon Pool on Friday. Afterward they enjoyed some play time on the grass.

It was getting close to nap time and Mia didn't want to wait.

Mommy's Birthday

Today was Mommy's birthday. We celebrated by having lunch together (yes - daddy took me to an office lunch), then dinner. We ate at Cosmo's and it was yummy!

Then we went to the park and daddy took me down the slide while mommy video'd.

Of course Mia's favorite thing from her birthday . . . a box!

Mia's First Birthday Party

She is just like daddy - a morning person! Mia woke up bright and early to celebrate her birthday. She even had a big smile for us :)
