Daddy Time

Mommy went out of town last weekend and left me with Daddy for a day. Mia and Daddy had sooo much fun! They went to Pet Smart and Mia got to "pet" the Chinchilla.

Oh, and Daddy forgot to brush Mia's hair - check out the "do"!

Happy Easter

Mia got to visit with the Easter Bunny on Sunday. We talked all about it and she was excited! That is until we got to the front of the line. Let's just say Mia is not a fan of the Easter Bunny . . .

The birds

After a long weekend in Vegas we got stuck at State Line (waiting out traffic). Mommy and Mia decided to go shopping at the Outlet Stores. Well . . . on the way we found a little "hut" with BIRDS! OMG - Mia could not get enough! She kept yelling, "Mommy - birds - hold them please"! Over and over and over. So I gave in. Here are some pictures:

18-Months

I cannot believe that my little baby girl is now 18-months old (ok technically she is a week over that)! So to celebrate we had new pictures taken. I am waiting on the disk of all the images, but here is her new photosheet. So cute!

BTW - although her eyes look very blue - some days they are green!

A day at the Beach

A few weeks ago we had an amazing warm weekend. Mia, Daddy and Mommy went to Salt Creek Beach to let Mia play in the sand. But when we got there we found much more.


Daddy found a star fish in the tide pools! Mia loves stars and loves fish, when she saw a star fish she was thrilled!
And then there was the wet sand. You know, I thought that my little girl might not want to get dirty, but NOPE that was not the case. Mia loved playing in the wet sand with Daddy.

Resort Life

Mia got to enjoy a day at The Pelican Hill Resort in Newport Coast. Here she was just splashing in the pool - next thing I knew she sat down - in the water! Needless to say the dress came off and she got to really swim! The pool is the largest circular pool in the world! And it was an amazing 82 degrees (never mind the 80 degree outdoor temp)!

Sing Baby Sing

Mia started singing this little song about 2 months ago but would never do it with a camera around. I FINALLY got it recorded. So cute!

Vegas Baby!

Yes, Mia went to Las Vegas to visit her Great Grandma, Uncle Steve, Cousins Kelly and Jill and second Cousin Eathan. We stayed at the Paris Casino and Mia loved the excitement. Here are some pictures of Mia and Daddy.

Lunch Date

Mia and Nathan had a lunch date last Friday. They got to run around, eat lunch, then shop. What could be better?? Nathan even gave Mia a hug . . . how cute!!

Thanksgiving in Kauai

We like to spend our Thanksgivings somewhere warm. This year it was Kauai. Here is how Mia spent her Thanksgiving Day. I can't tell you how many times we went down the slides :-)
We also played in the waterfalls, the baby pool, on the beach, and with the chickens (Kauai has a lot of chickens)!

A day at the park

The whole family went to the park today: Pugsly, Chevelle, Daddy, Mommy and Mia. It was a beautiful day and Mia got to run around with the dogs.

Airplane Adventures

Mia and Mommy went to Denver, CO for the weekend to visit mommy's friend and her baby Ellie. Let's just say the flight was an adventure. Mia didn't seem to remember that it was nap time - then past nap time. She just found all kinds of things to keep her busy.

I probably should not have let her eat the Cheerio, but at that point I just wanted to keep her happy!

Happy Halloween!

Technically this was Mia's 2nd Halloween, but does it really count when you're only 2 months old?

This is Mia last Halloween . . .This year was much more fun!

Mia ran (yes, she runs not walks) from door to door.

If something was spooky she would turn around and run the other way. Luckily Daddy was there to get her.

What a view

"Auntie" Tiffany had an amazing suite at the St. Regis Resort in Dana Point. Mia HAD to enjoy it and Mommy couldn't resist taking these pictures. Isn't she just too cute?

Pumpkin Patch

Mia enjoyed some time at the Pumpkin Patch on Sunday with her BFF Nathan. They ran around, played with pumpkins - basically had a blast! Until we tried to get them to sit still for this picture! With 2 one-year olds this was the best we could do!Mia loves peek-a-boo. This made it even better.
