Mia got to enjoy 10-nights of Cruising the Mexican Riviera with Mommy, Daddy, and a whole bunch of family from daddy's side. Cousin Sarah married Brent while we were stopped in Cabo . . . absolutely beautiful. After Cabo we stopped in Mazatlan, Acapulco, Zihuatanejo, and Puerto Vallarta. We enjoyed the time with the family, but are glad to be home on land!

Mia's first visit to Disneyland

Mia and Dora!
Over the weekend Mia, Nathan, Jill & I went to a Nickelodeon Weekend in Palm Springs. Mia was very excited to meet Dora, but when Dora arrive Mia was not so sure!
After a great breakfast with Dora, Mia got comfortable and even gave Dora a hug.

Happy 2nd Birthday to Mia's friend Megan
Mia's friend Megan had her 2nd Birthday Party on Saturday. It was so much fun! Mia got to play with Megan, swim and see a lot of her friends. Here is a shot of Mia and Daddy in the pool! It wasn't very warm, but Mia didn't mind.

Mia's Virgin Islands Vacation
Mia got to enjoy her first trip to the Virgin Islands. We spent a lot of time at various beachs and of course the pool in the backyard. Here wer are taking a ferry from St. Thomas to St. John. It's funny, Mia loved being on this boat, but when we put her on our boat at home she hates it . . .I'm thinking it's the life vest she doesn't like :)

Mia can float all by herself
Mia has been taking swim lessons for a while now. She can't "swim" but she has learned to float on her back all by herself!

Mommy Time

Daddy Time
Mommy went out of town last weekend and left me with Daddy for a day. Mia and Daddy had sooo much fun! They went to Pet Smart and Mia got to "pet" the Chinchilla.

The birds
After a long weekend in Vegas we got stuck at State Line (waiting out traffic). Mommy and Mia decided to go shopping at the Outlet Stores. Well . . . on the way we found a little "hut" with BIRDS! OMG - Mia could not get enough! She kept yelling, "Mommy - birds - hold them please"! Over and over and over. So I gave in. Here are some pictures:

18-Months
I cannot believe that my little baby girl is now 18-months old (ok technically she is a week over that)! So to celebrate we had new pictures taken. I am waiting on the disk of all the images, but here is her new photosheet. So cute!

A day at the Beach
A few weeks ago we had an amazing warm weekend. Mia, Daddy and Mommy went to Salt Creek Beach to let Mia play in the sand. But when we got there we found much more.
Daddy found a star fish in the tide pools! Mia loves stars and loves fish, when she saw a star fish she was thrilled! 
And then there was the wet sand. You know, I thought that my little girl might not want to get dirty, but NOPE that was not the case. Mia loved playing in the wet sand with Daddy.
